This is a great bike. I am very satisfied by how comfortable it is to ride. It takes to the trails with no problem. You will get your money's worth. There is a real smooth transition as you shift gears. It seems to be well built. I look froward to racking up the miles on it.

Just getting back into riding, Went with this bike for cost and looks. And I got one hell of a sweet ride! Outstanding performance in all aspects. Only thing I haven't done with it is DH...But im sure it would eat any trail you throw at it! Great Tires off the bat, Brakes take a lil twaeking at first, other then that, perfect bike for the cost concious mind and Avid rider.

Compare to any other bike in this price range and you will see that you are getting a whole lot for very little. The Frame alone is worth the price alone, then add on all the other goodies and you get the best bike money can buy at this price!!!

          Comments:

I ride this to school every day and offroad camping. The bike feels very sturdy and just feels tight overall. On jumps the only thing that makes a sound is the kickstand. I remove it for heavy offroad out of fear that it might lower on a jump. Compaired to my Diamondback Overdrive 29er that cost $750 (vs. this one at [$] I'd have to say this bike feels tighter and stronger. The only thing I can say that could be better would be the disk breaks. They are admittedly better than most other disks I have felt on bikes for the price range but for the first 50 miles or so they take quite a bit of pull to stop descent.Everyone says the disks get brake fade on downhills but I have seen none of that on hard breaking for solid minutes at a time.

The bike could not be any better for the price range. I compared it to all the other brands and I just liked this one the most, after the first ride I bought it. I have loved it ever since. Had it a month now with 80 miles on the bike, handles great. I jumped it a couple of times and no problems. Would recommend it to anyone. I have the black/red one.

I had an older trek 4300 stolen from me last summer. I have been buying bikes, parts, accessories [...] from BGI North in Indianapolis for the last 16 years. [...]I took it for a test ride and it was a done deal. I am a large man 6-2 295, and it doesn't complain a bit. Even the stock seat is comfortable. I can't say that for the trek. I might be a big man, but I use my bike daily. I really love this one. Thanks BGI North.

Just bought this bike today, took it off some jumps, shifted up hill, downhill. Road it pretty hard and it responded very well. Great bike for the price!!! Can't wait to do some real hardcore downhill [*] If you are thinking about buying this bike, it's unbeatable at this price!!!
