The geometry of the Advanced composite frame and swingarm was developed specifically around 29-inch wheels. That means shorter chainstays, a longer toptube, and just the right angles with the headtube (64.56 degrees) and seattube (76.36 degrees). We gave it an updated Maestro rear suspension system with 146mm of travel. The trunnion mount shock and Advanced Forged Composite rocker arm deliver an active, super plush feel on the trail.

You can select a 63.5, 63.9 or 64.2-degree head angle and corresponding 78.3, 78.7 or 79-degree seat tube angle, resulting in a 35, 30 or 25mm bottom bracket drop (size medium) to fine-tune handling for trail conditions, riding style and rear-wheel size. Rear wheel options Riders can choose either a 29- or 27.5-inch rear wheel, paired with a 29-inch front wheel. The larger 29-inch option improves stability and roll-over capabilities, while the 27.5 option delivers a more agile, snappier feel. It's a quick and easy change to adjust the bike's handling and feel. HIGHLIGHTS The geometry of the ALUXX SL aluminum frameset has been updated to accommodate 29-inch wheels, and you now have the option to run a "mullet" setup with a 27.5 rear wheel. In order to bring EVO fun to the masses, we took our FACT 11m carbon frame (yes, the same one as the S-Works), dressed it with a bullet-proof SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain and a tough-as-nails set of alloy wheels, and set it loose to shred unsuspecting trails everywhere. - All the travel in the world is useless without the proper shock tuning and kinematics. For the new Stumpjumper EVO design, we prioritized kinematic performance. Applying lessons learned while developing the Enduro, then following that with more than 1,000 hours of field and suspension lab development, we've not only improved the pedaling performance of the Stumpjumper, but we've made it more capable, agile, and lively. You can adjust the BB height by 10mm, you can adjust your head angle by two degrees, and you can make these adjustments independently of each other.
